The annual National Scholar Computer Science & Information Technology Team Competition consists of three rounds (state, regional, and national) of team competition in Computer Science & Information Technology. Teams must consist of three members, all of whom must currently be enrolled at an accredited high school.
The 2024 competition will take place virtually and asynchronously. Proctoring may also take place through recorded online sessions. It is mandatory to have a Zoom connection and a camera turned on for the duration of the exams.
Students must register through an accredited school or community program and must have an approved proctor for the exam. Students who do not meet these criteria will be deregistered and their registration fees will be refunded. To register your organization, please click here.
The registration fee of $100 includes access to a full sample exam. All participants will be sent a printable personalized certificate of participation that indicates the level achieved. The top ten teams will also be featured on our website, in our publications, and in our press releases.
